The Board

The Danish Evaluation Institute (EVA) is managed by a board. The chairman of the board is appointed by the Danish Minister for Children and Education. The other members of the board are nominated by different councils in the educational sector. The minister for Culture also nominates a member of the board. Moreover, the board has a member with expertise in evaluation. The members take part in the work of the board as private individuals.

Board work

The board appoints the executive director and meets with EVA's management approximately five times every year. At the meetings the board approves of the terms of reference for projects and discusses and comments on the evaluation reports. The board draws up the programme for the year's activities on the recommendation of the executive director, and it also approves EVA's budget and accounts.
