International projects
In 2011-2012 we carry out this project with an international focus
Transnational educational programmes
EVA carries out a project on gathering and communicating knowledge on transnational educational programmes. The aim of the project is to gather international experiences and knowledge on transnational programmes, looking into the barriers and potentials which educational institutions experience when it comes to transnational educational programmes within the areas of: Management and strategy, organization of teaching and learning, and quality assurance.

NOQA-project: The site-visit – form, methodology and function
NOQA's project in 2009-2010 will discuss similarities and differences in the form, methodology and function of the site-visit between the Nordic agencies in order to get new perspectives and inspiration for development of the national approaches.
The site-visit is a central point in the well-established four stage model for external quality assurance of higher education, and all of the Nordic agencies conduct site-visits as an integrated element in their evaluation procedures. There are, however, quite substantial differences between the agencies in the way a site-visit is conceived, conducted and subsequently used as documentation, and thus also a substantial potential for learning.

In 2009, we carry out these international co-projects
EVA engaged in self certification of Danish National Qualifications Framework
EVA has developed a concept for the self certification of Danish Qualifications Framework in higher education.
The Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation has asked EVA to manage the organisational and methodical aspects of the forthcoming certification process, where the compatibility of the Danish qualification frameworks to European standards will be examined. The self certification is part of the Bologna process that promotes international cooperation and academic exchange in Europe.

NOQA project on joint degrees
The Nordic Council of Ministers has requested that NOQA develop a quality assurance concept for the Scandinavian joint degree and master programmes.
A preliminary result of NOQA’s work is a set of criteria that measures ’jointness’. These criteria are presently pilot-tested on two joint master programmes. In the summer of 2009, NOQA will publish a report on the basis of the pilot test and on a seminar with representatives from the programmes included in the project.
The aim of the project is to help facilitate the exchange of experience about how existing data can be used in the development of the Scandinavian primary and lower secondary schools.
ECA-project: Accreditation of joint programmes
EVA takes part in an ECA project on, amongst other objectives, developing a European methodology for accreditation procedures regarding joint programmes. The idea is that joint programmes in the future apply for one single accreditation procedure which replaces the different national procedures in the countries concerned, taking into account the totality of the joint programme.
