International networks

EVA's international activities typically consist of participation in conferences and networks with organisations that work with evaluation and quality assurance of daycare and education.

In early childhood education

- An association of school professionals with the purpose of heightening the quality of education and equal opportunities for all students in schools in all countries. EVA has initiated a subgroup focusing on early childhood education.

  • Nordic Network on Early Childhood Education and Care

- A Nordic network with participants from the ministries of the Nordic countries and government evaluation institutes engaged in the field of early childhood education. The network meet one another once or twice a year to share knowledge and experiences about the Nordic actions within the field and to coordinate evaluations and studies in between the Nordic countries. EVA participates in the meetings with presentations about the results of our studies and evaluations among other things

  • EECERA - Special Interest Group on Young Children's Perspectives

- in the auspices of European Early Childhood Education Research Association  (EECERA), which hosts an annual conference focusing on educational research, a number of networks have been established including a network centering on the involvement of the children's perspectives. EVA participates in this network along with scientists from European countries, New Zealand and Australia. Through the network we are informed of the existing and coming studies and results and we have the opportunity of methodological sparring and exchanging of experiences, so as to better involve the childs perspective in EVA's evaluations.

In the field of primary and lower secondary education.

  • Nordisk evalueringsnetværk på skoleområdet (Nordic Network for Evaluation in the field of primary and lower secondary education) 

- A formal Nordic evaluation network with attendants from Nordic organizations evaluating educational matters.

- A European association for institutions and organisations doing educational research. The purpose of the association includes promoting cooperation within research, exchanging knowledge between the educational scientists and raising the quality of the research. EERA hosts the ECER conference every year, and EVA has actively participated for a number of years.

- An association of school professionals with the purpose of heightening the quality of education and equal opportunities for all students in schools in all countries.

In the field of upper secondary education

  • European Network on Quality Assurance in VET

- European network for quality assurance institutions in the area of vocational education.

  • European Educational Research Association (EERA)

- A European association for institutions and organisations doing educational research. The purpose of the association includes promoting cooperation within research, exchanging knowledge between the educational scientists and raising the quality of the research. EERA hosts the ECER conference every year, and EVA has actively participated for a number of years.

- An association of school professionals with the purpose of heightening the quality of education and equal opportunities for all students in schools in all countries.

In the field of higher education

- Association of European institutions working with evaluation and quality assurance in higher education.

- EVA is an affiliate of ENQA

  • Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)

- The IQA-network is a European forum for exchanging experiences about and inspiration for internal quality assurance. IQA operates within the framework of ENQA.

- Network for Nordic institutions working with quality assurance in the higher education field.

- A global association of institutions working with evaluation and quality assurance in higher education.

- An annual European conference about quality assurance in higher education, which gathers all stakeholders in the field.
